Valentine’s Day hand-print cards, so sweet!
With watercolor paper folded in half, and each hand thoroughly covered in red paint, place your hands onto the paper doing your best to keep your thumbs slightly bent and your pointer fingers touching – in order to make a handprint heart.
One tip before getting your students to stick their hands onto the paper is to make sure that you have your card upside down or the opposite way, so that you have the “heart” in the right direction when complete!
To give the cards a little shimmer, sprinkle glitter over the wet paint and using alphabet stamps to decorate accordingly. I personally like the ‘Be Mine’ and ‘I ♥ U’ stamps for the center of the handprint hearts for a sweet little Valentine’s Day message. Parents will be so impressed!
